<description>This is a recording of the exercise at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) in Angers in France in May 2026. In this interactive exercise in a computer laboratory, I briefly explained parameterization of the motor model from the corresponding lecture as well as the fundamentals of the electric circuit simulator LTspice. We then developed simple simulation models of increasing complexity using voltages sources, resistors and inductors in order to learn about the pitfalls of electric circuit simulation. Finally, we tried the developed a model of the DC motor to simulate its behavior and to compare it with the experimental results from the corresponding lecture.
