        <description>This is a recording of my lecture at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) in Angers in France in May 2026. In this interactive lecture, we discussed the fundamentals of direct-current motors and the necessary physical quantities for modeling them. We then developed a model for the motor taking into account is electrical and physical behavior. Finally, I did some experiments and showed some demonstrations to determine the parameters of the motor. This included measurements using a multimeter, a current probe, a high-voltage probe and a USB-powered oscilloscope.
